MASS AEROBICS
Location – The Sports Field, The Beaconsfield School, Wattleton Road
The day is over, time to relax? Not quite!
Let’s all get together in front of the main stage before the Medal Ceremony and join in an all age all ability aerobics exercise headed up by the physical trainers from RAF Wilton Park. Expect noise, colour and fun as we prepare for the Closing Ceremony and the presentation of Gold Medals to all the winners.
Can we beat the world record for the largest mass aerobics exercise?
Well, probably not.In 2002 46,824 people of all ages - even the country's prime minister - stepped and stretched in a park in the capital Bangkok. It was all organised to remind people of how important it is to stay healthy.
Believe it or not, there was a record to break - 38,633 people did it in June 1998 in Guadalajara, Mexico. However The Beaconsfield Games is about getting involved in fun and fit activities. This is your event, organised by your community.
See you ready and waiting on the playing field outside The Beaconsfield School at 5.30pm!

FOOTBALL
Register to take part in The Beaconsfield Games Football Challenge, run by Holtspur FC. Each player will have two attempts to score a goal against one of our goalkeepers (except for youngest age group).
The challenge will take place on the Astroturf pitches at Beaconsfield High School.
The player will dribble the ball between two lines and then take a shot at goal, run back to the start point and repeat the challenge with a second ball. If more than one person for each age group scores both times, then the time taken to complete the challenge will be taken into account, with the fastest time winning.
The three fastest boys and girls per age group will be presented with a medal at the Beaconsfield Games closing ceremony.
Please note that all competitors MUST turn up to the Astroturf pitches in Beaconsfield High School by the time shown for the briefing so we can sign you in and explain the rules to everyone at the same time.
Any late arrivals may not be able to take part.
It is expected that the challenge will be fully subscribed and therefore registration on the day will not be allowed. We expect each age group to take 30 minutes as we will have several goals operating at the same time.
Families are welcome to watch obviously, but will need to stand outside the competition area. We will notify winners after the event by text or phone call so please register a mobile number that you will have on the day. We also plan to publish results on the website if possible.
Each age group category will be divided into boys and girls. They will be competing at the same time but the results will be compiled separately. Disabled players are particularly welcome if they can take part in the event. There will be a separate category for disabled players per age group too.

Playball is a multi sports and movement programme for children aged between 2 – 9 years and will be offering free trials at The Beaconsfield Games in age specific classes.
For the 2-3 year olds we will be teaching the basics of jumping, throwing, kicking, hitting, catching, bouncing and dribbling.
